I have some motocross boots that are a little snug and I need to strech them. Any ideas?

The boots are thick leather, what do I do?

A good store that sells boots (like cowboy boots) will have a shoe stretcher. It fits down inside the boot and can stretch the boot wider, or stretch the instep higher. They wet the boot, either with water or a special stretching compound, and crank on the stretcher.
Reply:If they are brand new, they will eventually relax and stretch out a little from normal wear and tear. You kinda want them to be fairly tight to help support your ankle. Why weren't there any riders like you back when I rode all the time?
Reply:Soak them in a bucket of hot water-until the water cools. Then put three pair of socks on and wear the boots until they dry.You might think I'm crazy, but it works.
Reply:This works I used to buy mine a half size to small so I could get a custom fit. It is so easy all you have to do is fill them with water let stand for about 10 to 15 minutes then pour it out and put he boots on with socks of course they will stretch out in a little while the important thing is to wear them until they dry and they will shrink to fit your foot only. Works with all leather foot ware also with leather hats.
Reply:What I used to do Is let someone else wear them till they were broken In and comfortable, find someone with clean feet though.

I hope this helps you It did me and I have a 9eeee foot
Reply:Dunno if this is going 2 work or not but....in order for a hockey players 2 have his/her skates fit pefrectly, they warm them up in an oven and then walk around in them till they cool to form around ur feet. Might work, might not. Take my advice at ur discretion.
Reply:Have someone with bigger feet put them on and strech them out.
