I'm not trying to be nasty to anyone. I'm truly curious.

Why don't animal rights activists...?
I've never seen an animal rights activist do anything like this, so I can't really say.

However, I am one. And I have no leather, or anything made out of animals and I am also vegan.

There are people who care about animals, (but just a little) those are the ones who go around preaching and yet they are hypocriates. And then there are people like me, and other true animal activists who are true to our word and aren't hypocriates.

It's the same thing when people call themselves vegetarian, and yet they still eat fish lol. Catch my drift?
Reply:I agree with the first answerer, I think they wear fake leather and furs. People who believe so strongly in animal rights to be activists are very unlikely to wear clothing made from animals.
Reply:Many of them actually wear pleather or faux leather. It's kind of the same as vegetarians wanting to stop killing animals but craving meat so they eat meat-shaped/flavored patties and what-not. Don't worry, though, I spent a long time wondering the same thing until I asked a friend.

Personally I'd focus more on the message than the clothes. If they're activists that talk as though animals are more important than people then their credibility is already suspect.

knode-develBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-75944560836964667352010-03-17T03:38:00.000-07:002010-03-17T03:38:10.677-07:00Runescape trade?im willing to buy the following from anybody: frog leather body, snake skin body, snakeskin bandana, snakeskin boots or frog leather boots: if you would like to sell any of these post your username: p.s. im weirdalf2

Runescape trade?
2metalfan2

kewl

im usually on sat and sun from 4 to 8 or 9
Reply:I dont thing you can treade those things......

skin spotsBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-42086753739346701242010-03-17T03:37:00.000-07:002010-03-17T03:37:54.185-07:00RENT Musical Halloween Costume help, anyone?I'm going as Mimi from the musical RENT (her Broadway Out Tonight outfit (NOT the movie outfit. I have no intention of EVER wearing that)), but I ran across a problem. Boots, no problem (I'm covering a pair of knee high leather boots with giraffe print material to save myself $400). Arm warmers/ leather gloves, shirt, mesh shirt (it's under some Mimi's Out Tonight shirts), and hair stuff no problem. My problem is the pants, the things that she has on her knees (rolled up leg warmers maybe?), and the band around her waist. Does anyone have any ideas on where I could find these things, the pants especially? I was thinking running tights or even leggings, but I can't find any that give off that sparkle effect. Help is greatly appreciated! If you need pictures, I have SEVERAL, so e-mail me and I can send them to you.

RENT Musical Halloween Costume help, anyone?
i did this last year and i just bought blue tights at hot topic. they don't sparkle but it's hard to find cheap pants in that color. as for the band around her pants, i wore plack tights under the blue (which helped so they aren't see-through) and just rolled the black over the blue. i didn't do the kneee pads, but you could just take black fabric and kinda roll it up and pin it? it could give it that bohemian-no money look! lol hope this helps! sorry i have no pics of how my costume turned out to show you the outcome.

acne cureBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-73344315773927856592010-03-17T03:35:00.001-07:002010-03-17T03:35:48.366-07:00What should i wear to a friends birthday dinner outing,?its cold here too so im thinking of wearing maybe ankle boots or long black leather boots, but with what, help!!!!

What should i wear to a friends birthday dinner outing,?
cardigan or cashmere sweeter, baby pink, bell bottom or boot cut jeans, ankle boots, and your nicest jewelry.
Reply:Black pencil skirt, cute top, red heels and a long peacoat. (They are Destroy boots, for anyone who is familiar with this brand). Is there anything i can use to darken the soles, i guess i could use a woodstain on the wooden part, my concern is the rubber/plastic part. black boots with cream soles will look a bit odd!

Dyeing shoes, and their soles?
The crepe soles will absorb the dye, but they will not hold onto the dye and you'll be leaving little black bootprints everywhere. Don't worry about the light colour, the only colour real crepe comes in is pale cream. You can use a bit of your stain on the sides of the soles, which is done in shoe factories, but not on the part that makes contact with the floor. Your other choice is a permanent marker such a a sharpie which will last a while. But it won't be much of an issue for long, with age and wearing the crepe will darken naturally and they won't be pale colour after a few weeks. Oh yes, and lightly sand the wood before staining so the wood absorbs the stain. Trust me, I'm staining some wooden chairs and I could have saved myself a whole bunch of frustration!
Reply:If you're going to dye the soles of your shoes, remind me NOT to invite you round here to walk on my carpets ! ! !
Reply:Don't worry about the soles. Traditionally, black shoes almost always had lighter soles. Why, right now I'm wearing a pair of black shoes with brown soles. Don't dye the soles - I've tried this myself and it didn't work. It definitely won't work if they're not leather too.
Reply:Why did you not just wait until a black or dark brown pair came up for sale. Good choice of shoe BTW I like buffalo shoes they are mint.

kmdiBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-81071982851802961762010-03-17T03:33:00.000-07:002010-03-17T03:33:41.611-07:00I need help with a clue scroll?the clue scroll i says headbang in the mine north of al kharid equip desert shirt leather gloves and leather boots

I need help with a clue scroll?
wear the stuff it tells you to, go to the mine and do the emote
Reply:I am pretty sure you are talking about runescape.

If you got the clue scroll from a lmao creature, you wont get nuttin that good. try the source. We were about to go out for some Chinese food, and I was putting on a pair of brown leather boots. At this point he made the comment that sparked the fight. something like..."I won't go out with/be seen with you until you take off those boots..." I get angry and I'm waiting for him to say just kidding but he assures me that he is dead serious. So...I said that my boots and I are going out without him (still waiting for him to say something nice to make up for it) ...he keeps making comments about it. I yelled at him and told him to get lost until further notice. I feel like a total jerk for getting mad about something so stupid, but at the same time he was a jerk too. I wish I could show a picture of the boots because they are very cute (not cowboy boots) Please everyone let me know what you think of this situation...

Should I apologize/call first?
i mean if you feel that you should apologize then go ahead i mean it is kinda silly to argue over a pair of boots but why is it such a problem to wear the boots while you guys go out
Reply:He was being a jerk when he said that. But you fell into the trap by responding the way that you did. I know that it upset you, but you should have asked what he didn't like about them. As for whether you should call or apologize first, it depends on how soon you want this thing to be over. You can call and let him know that you don't want to fight with him. Sound like you're sorry. Then let him know that it hurt your feelings when he said that because you liked the boots and thought that they looked pretty. Hopefully he'll realize what a jerk he was and apologize to you.
Reply:i mean..i'm a guy..haha..so i would totally call first...and apologize..but i guess..u dont have to be a guy to call first and apologize

^^ i'm not saying that girls should call first..but..i guess its your decision on how bad u guys are mad at eachother.
Reply:Ok you should've asked him to explain why he wasn't going with you in those boots! Sorry but my man and I have been together for over 4years I wish he would say something like that, he'd do what I said and Like it but the key for you is to talk communicate that is the best way!!!!

Shoes AgentsBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-34165318356678975442010-03-17T03:25:00.000-07:002010-03-17T03:25:07.078-07:00What is the best video game to film adaptation(s)?There have been many, but we are still waiting for that film which isnear flawless...

I'm partial to 'Resident Evil' (the first and best film) which features Milla Jovovich in a red skirt and black leather boots fighting zombies...(a film which was probably a fluke for Paul W.S. I have no water proof shoes. I only have sneakers and leather boots, which the sellsperson said is water proof and can be worn in the rain. my mom is not really keen on the idea of buying waterproof shoes, since we spent big bucks on my other ski stuff. will wearing my sneakers be a bad idea? or vice versa for the leather boots?

Ski packing?
The leather boots will do fine, and they are better for your feet anyway.

They *will* get wet, even if it is just from sweat. What I do when I go skiing is to take a hairdryer that has a non-heating (fan only) setting. At the end of the day, prop your boots up and leave the hair dryer blowing into them for a few hours. This will work for your ski boots, socks, and anything wool, too -- just be sure that you do *not* apply any heat, or you will damage or even shrink the leather
Reply:I would take a pair of boots (timberland/cat: but a cheap pair) as these are safer when walking on the snow! they give you better grip. Sneakers won't give you that much of a grip and leather boots don't have that much of a tread in the sole of the shoe/boot.
Reply:There is a leather water repellant compound that we used on ski boots when they were made of leather. It works quite well, check with a sporting goods store, that has hunting gear.
Reply:Spend the money and the time to keep your feet warm. That would be the smartest thing you could do. Nothing is worse then your feet being cold. Do not count on water proof shoes or leather boots. While they may keep water out, they do not keep out the cold. If you will be playing in the snow much at all, get some boots that are rated for cold weather. Cold feet can ruin what would have otherwise been a fun trip.

booksBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-33959899242192354262010-03-17T03:24:00.002-07:002010-03-17T03:24:35.714-07:00I need dirt cheap horse show attire for one show? After nearly 7 years of riding lesson horses, my parents are paying for my very first horse show as a graduation present. My man likes me to be classy and leave a little to the imagination. One time I wore this cute yellow summer dress, but I didn't wear any underwear, so while we were driving, I took his hand and put it between my legs, (just so he would know)

THATS sexy and still lady like for the public eye
Reply:I have this blue sweater that is mostly see through and when it's worn with my lace lilac bra, it looks like I'm not wearing a bra. I wore that out to a club with my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) and got quite a few stares. He loved it. Not nearly as kinky as what you described, but it was fun nonetheless.

Oh and I wouldn't call what you wore "whorish" as some people have stated. I guess they have never heard of BDSM?
Reply:Wow, sounds like you guys had a bit of kinky fun. lol...did anyone say anything?

I guess mine was a skimpy little black dress that was quite form fitting and only went down to mid thigh, shiny pantyhose with no panties underneath, and knee high boots with 4 inch heels. Got lots of looks that evening. lol
Reply:I wore a black cocktail dress that was VERY low cut in the front with black high heel strappy sandals. The dress was so distracting, the waiter had to ask me to repeat my order 3 times.

PS. There is a difference between sexy and whoreish. Your outfit is whoreish.
Reply:I wore a mini skirt with a bodysuit underneath and I didn't have any panties on underneath the bodysuit and I didn't close the snaps. Of course, it was warm outside and it felt very exhilerating and sexy, not to mention naughty.
Reply:A black latex catsuit, catwoman mask, gloves and knee high patent boots. I want to be as safe as possible on a street bike since I'm a beginner. But would wearing too much work against you? Like make you feel less comfortable, and make it harder to maneuver? Because I plan on wearing a full face helmet, Leather Gloves, One-Piece leather suit while wearing Knee Sliders / Knee Pucks over it and Alpinestars back/chest protector, Leather Boots and a Leather jacket over all of that. Would this be too much and be too uncomfortable? Can you wear too much gear? I plan on getting a 2008 ninja 250r

Is it possible to wear too much safety gears?
make sure everything fits perfect and the main thing is that you're comfortable. ALWAYS wear a helmet, shoes, pants, and gloves. Safety gear can get in the way sometimes (in your case, yes i think it's overkill), but if you do go down, you'll be glad you were wearing them. and there's a pretty good chance you WILL go down, just a matter of when...

whether youre riding a ninja 250, a zx-14, or a 50cc moped, ALWAYS wear your gear. you probly won't need the knee sliders or the one piece leather suit just yet tho...
Reply:Sounds a little like your trying out for Robo Cop but better than not having enough you will find your medium somewhere

just rem drive safe it does not have a force feild around it
Reply:I was always told " Prepare for the worst, that way you'll never be disappointed". That scared the living **** out of me at first but I still 8 years later ALWAYS wear helmet, leather jacket, leather gloves( the more expensive ones with palm and knuckle moulded plastic protectors) and at minimum a pair of jeans. On short trips to the shops I wear all of the above and good lace-up boot( with the laces tied and put back inside the boot) but on longer trips I wear my heavy duty Kevlar wet weather pants and racing boots. Remember also check those mirrors, because the idiot in the car who will hit you usually comes from behind. Be pro active with your brake lights. Q-ride tought me 'lights on', which means you only have to engage the brake enough to hear or feel the brake light sender "click" on either brake to let the guy behind you in the four wheel drive that you are scrubbing off speed with your engine braking. I hope this helps. I also recomend for a first bike open ferring or road trail, mainly due to repair costs and they don't usually go past150km/h. The 2007 WR450 I own can do the commute to work and doubles as a weekend weapon.
Reply:too much gear is possible i had an oversized helmet for motor cross and I wore it one time and wrecked into a tree and hurt my leg (not my head) and at that point i decided until I could get a proper helmet it would have been safer in my case to take it slow and ride without the helmet. thats not something you can do on a motorcycle considering there are cars on a road involved, but my point is don't constrict yourself to the point where your movements are hindered
Reply:Yes, more is not always better. It will make your movements restricted, make you feel trapped, you will have less feel and control over yourself and your bike. If you're wearing a one-piece suit, there is no need to wear another jacket on top of that. I ride, and my gear consists of Alpinestars gloves and one-piece suit, Body Armour back protector, Infinity windproof top, Sidi Vertigo boots, and Arai Astro J helmet. And this is enough to make me more than safe-I came off in December when it was icy, and when I hit the deck it felt like falling on a mattress. I've also got a set of Rev It' waterproofs, and they're also good-someone slammed into me quite hard (their driver's door was bent, and they needed a new mirror) and I came out fine, albeit sore for a week. The only thing broken was the elbow protector. Ultimately, you've got to see what you're comfortable in and what makes you feel safe.
Reply:Are you sure you not planning on taking a trip to the moon? Just kidding...it's good to wear protection, but you definitely need to be comfortable. Wearing too much won't allow you to manuver the bike.
Reply:I would say that everything you have chosen will not be to much except you will only need knee sliders if you are planning on getting so far over in a turn that you are going to be dropping a knee, This i guarantee you, that you will not be doing anytime soon so you can lose them for now and it is not necessary to wear a leather jacket over the one piece suit assuming you buy a good quality one piece suit. Get one that is double and tripled stitched with CE rated armor and a minimum of 1.5mm leather. Knox also makes very good chest and back protectors I am not sure how they compare in price to the alpinestar. Dont just buy any leather boots make sure you get ones with armor in the ankle area. I have the 08 250R and its a lot of fun, inexpensive and good gas mileage. Be safe and watch for those left turning drivers. Practice your slowing moving driving in a parking lot it will help your coordination and multi-tasking.
Reply:It can be harder to maneuver when you wear too much, but more is better.

Summer you will get hot in all the gear but if wearing all of it is comfortable and can still maneuver than your good to go.
Reply:yes those gears get heavy
Reply:In the summer, all that gear will be hot. But hot as it might get, the first time you go down (because you _will_ go down), you'll thank God you had it all on. Digging road pebbles out of your leathers and being sorry they are all scuffed up, is infinitely better than digging gravel out of your arms, or your face, and hoping you'll heal up.

Regardless of how hot it gets, never ride without:

-Full face helmet

-Boots

-Gloves

-Jacket.

Leathers are nice, but a little warm in the summer, and not warm enough in winter. Still good for keeping your skin on, however.
Reply:Full racing leathers complete with sliders and pucks?

AND a leather jacket on top?

Mommy, buy some training wheels!

Loan forumBlainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16365261381862191859noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2319166472963185565.post-58785496431609281902010-03-17T03:21:00.003-07:002010-03-17T03:21:54.952-07:00I have a job interview coming up and was going to wear this outfit that an old b/f told me to wear.?to get the job.

red satin blouse, black silk necktie, leather haltervest, leather skirt, fishnets, knee high leather boots. leather bra, leather thongs.

it is a bikini type bar and he said the money is good but the boss is very perverted and likes to touch his girls on the interview.

would you ever go to the interview dressed like this?

I have a job interview coming up and was going to wear this outfit that an old b/f told me to wear.?
go for it, that is avery sexy outfit. if the owner is a pervert he will surely hire you. i am a female and i would just because you were so bold
Reply:If you already know the boss is perverted i dont know why you would wanna work there. She started emailing me and this is the reply I sent her

what can I say you're very perseptive. I have somewhat of a fetish for wearing women's black leather knee length boots inside my flat, nothing more than that. Its been going on for the last five years. I buy boots on ebay and then sometimes sell them on there as well. I think there is nothing sexier than boots, I'm not sure if its a power thing but I love to see women in boots as well as it always makes me think that they're in charge wearing them.
