How do you get rid of a squeaky sound in leather shoes?

I bought leather ankle boots a few weeks ago and suddenly a squeaky sound. Anyone know of a way to get rid of it?

rub vasaline on the outside of the shoe... it really helps!
Reply:OMG I have this same problem! I can't wait to see what the best answer is. Seriously I've stopped wearing some of my favorite shoes because it sounds like I'm farting when I walk around my office!

Reply:there is a type of leather lotion you can use to losen up the leather , an the the noise will stop
