i have a pair of tan boots, i'm not really sure if they are real leather or not, in anycase, a couple of droplets of water fell on them the other night and now there are dark brown spots where the water fell. what caused it and how do i get the spots out?

Dip a piece of cotton in cooking oil and rub over the spots. Or else use brown leather polish.
Reply:try trisodium phoshate or oxy clean they are water softener
