What is the best video game to film adaptation(s)?

There have been many, but we are still waiting for that film which isnear flawless...

I'm partial to 'Resident Evil' (the first and best film) which features Milla Jovovich in a red skirt and black leather boots fighting zombies...(a film which was probably a fluke for Paul W.S. Anderson, as his other films aren't up to par)...

Another is 'Silent Hill' which comes a close second...(with another female protagonist--Rahda Mitchell--in a skirt and boots; as well as a female police sidekick in tight leather pants, boots, and gloves)...

'Silent Hill' was a bit much in the gore, and the story fell flat in the second hour....but hopefully the sequel will fix things.

Your picks...?

What is the best video game to film adaptation(s)?
In my view Resident Evil is the best ever.
Reply:thnx and good luck:) Report It

Reply:House of the Dead 2 was a fun zombie flick. So was Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I usually vote for the zombies, but I actually wanted Alice and Carlos to survive this one. I'm really looking forward to Extinction and am planning to see it opening night. Though it does kind of make me sad that Valentine's not going to be in it.

Silent Hill was unintentionally funny. They try to make Rose out to be a good mother, but she is the worst one ever. I am so going to see the sequel.

I really liked Mortal Kombat as a kid. In high school, my friends and I were still running around doing our Mortal Kombat poses. Yeah, we were weird.

My dad used to rent Street Fighter "for us kids" a lot. Same thing with the Mario Brothers movie. :)

ANH J: Yeah, I didn't like the first House of the Dead, either.
Reply:Mortal Kombat, the first one, was the best video game to movie adaption I've seen so far.
