What kind of autumn/winter jacket looks good with skirt and calf-length boots? No bomber jackets or parkas?

Bomber jackets don't look that good on me. Parkas look too baggy on me. Close-fitting leather or denim jackets that go past my waistline and end near the hip look good on me - in fact they are my wardrobe staples if I'm wearing a skirt (mini or midi) and calf-length boots, but I'm looking for an alternative look other than to always be seen wearing a leather or denim jacket. I also love wearing tights with this ensemble (patterned, knitted, bright coloured, etc).

belted jackets / coats will be HUGE this season :-)
Reply:I'd say a double breasted wool jacket would look good, one which reaches just above the hips. That's what i'm planning to get for the autuwn/winter.
Reply:I would go with a peacoat or a trendy trench coat. It might sound boring now, but trench coats are "in" this fall. Peacoats are more traditional, but still look good with almost anything. Hope I helped. You should be a knock out with either one!
Reply:What about a peacoat made of wool?
Reply:appear too choosy-see for yourself what is the best!

Maybe a puffa jacket, but a shorter one.
