English riding boots?

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get good english riding boots, i wear size 11 womens, and would like them to be the short ones(i can't remember the name) the ones that only go up to your ankle, i would perfer them to be classic leather lace up, any color. I would like them to be reasonably high quality but not very expensive. and i know this is going to sound stupid but it'd be cool if they had a fringe on the toe.

Sorry if i sound snobby!

English riding boots?
English boots with a fringe on the toe ?

Is this some type of English boot not sold in England ?

Sorry but I have never seen boots with a fringe .

You could look on Ebay though.
Reply:id go to dover saddlery.com or wildhorsefeathers.com the past answer was right though you want the ones with the fringe near the toes
Reply:well those are called paddock boots. yes ive seen the ones that have the fringe on them, look at farm supply stores like coastal. or any local sadlerys or outfitters.ask your trainer or horse friends about any good stores nearby

i hope i could help
Reply:The boots that you are looking for are made by Ariat. ( An American company, not English ) Debi is right, there are no English makes with fringes on the toes. If you want proper English boots then I can suggest you look at Regent, Harry Hall or Caldene. In England we call them " Jodhpur boots ", in the U.S.A. they are called " Paddock boots ".
Reply:I suggest you try the web sites for the big English tack shops. Try Bit of Britain, Dover, State Line Tack. They also have catalogs they can send you. Smart Pak might have some. VTO Saddlery and Legacy Tack are also good. Jeffers might have something, but I'm not sure. You can even give e-bay a shot. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Also, I believe you are looking for paddock boots. Good luck.
Reply:I know some with fringe on them they are Ariats, and are about 100 dollars in the US. I suggest a pair of Ariats because they last for ever, and are very nice, and come in different colors. Good luck!
Reply:look on www.doversaddlery.com . They have a ton of different boots, and some are not very expensive. I would go with Ariat or Devon Aire if i were you.
