Can a nice pair of brown ankle high dress boots be worn with a women's executive brown pinstripe pant suit?

I am a tennis shoes only kind of girl. I need to know if these boots are possible with the pant suit I have for an interview this week. I hate dress shoes so this is my idea of compromise. the boots are ankle high with a folder over top and slouched look in front. They are brown leather and the suit is a typical dark brown pinstipe executive style suit. The boots are dark brown as well. Is this doable or do I have to bow down to painfully pretty dress shoes with a dreaded kill my feet high heel. Help Please.

i would say boots can work with a pants suit. I do it all the time. but your boots, with the slouchy thing might not be good with the suit regardless of the color. think if they are tailored and clean lined, like the suit.

Reply:that will never look good together but u can also just get a dress and some nice flats if you dont like heels. :)
Reply:Yeah, you could wear that. Since the boots don't go past your ankles it will give the same impression as if you were wearing actual dress shoes. :]

Just don't tuck the pants into the shoes.
Reply:Ankle high dress boots are fine as long as they match your pants. It won't matter since your pants will be covering up most of your boots. The interviewer won't be looking at your shows, he/she will be looking at you and questioning you.
