Has anyone ever worn leather pants or a collar to a college class?

i have a b/f that wants me to wear leather pants and a collar with a white satin dress shirt and boots to my college at least once a week. i would love to but am afraid that i would be an outcast and not seen as a serious student

i would like advice from those who have worn these so i will know what to expect when i do wear it?

Has anyone ever worn leather pants or a collar to a college class?
You would NOT be seen as a serious student, but then again how many of your peers really are serious students.
Reply:I don't wear leather, but I have worn a collar and dom boots to class before. Granted, as a female, I got a different reaction than you'd get. I'm GUESSING you wouldn't be outcast for it, and any professor worth their title shouldn't care as long as you properly do your work. That does all depend somewhat on how liberal or conservative your school is, though.
Reply:When I worked at LSU, I would see guys wearing club clothes - including leather pants - to class now and then. They didn't seem to get much grief about it. At least not obviously. I guess it depends on which college, though.
Reply:why is your boyfriend dictating what you should wear?

wear what you want.
Reply:I wear leather skirts %26amp; pants to class all the time, but then again I'm a biker %26amp; everyone knows it lol but I don't know why anyone should have a problem w/ it.
Reply:i wear leather pants(trousers)or pvc regularly,i woudnt worry about what others think,at least your being individual and not following the crowd, colleges are usually pretty tolerant places anyway,so go for it!
Reply:I wore leather pants to class all the time, in high school and grade school (yup, grade school). Big freaking deal.

My best pal in college wore his collar to class all the time. I think people were more intimidated by the fact he's over six and a half feet tall.

Wear what you want, a serious student is someone who does their work. It's got nothing to do with their clothes. An outcast wouldn't have friends to be concerned with, and probably not have a boyfriend either.
